Start on paper.
Pay when you go live.

Every plan includes the risk engine, the audit log and paper trading. What changes is how many strategies you can run against real money and how much you can ask the AI for.

The strategy builder, backtesting, charts, the marketplace and market news all need Pro or above — the free tier is a doorway, not a trial. Live trading also needs your own broker account — StockStudios connects to your MT5 account through MetaApi and never holds your funds. Starter accounts can build, backtest and paper-trade indefinitely; nothing expires and no card is taken.

Questions that come up

01

Do you take a cut of my profits?

No. The subscription is the whole price. Your broker account is yours, your trades settle with your broker, and StockStudios never touches the money.

02

What happens if I downgrade?

Strategies over the new limit stop opening new positions. Nothing is deleted and nothing is force-closed — an automated system closing your positions because a card expired would be a worse outcome than the overage.

03

Can I try live trading without risking money?

Yes, and it is the default. Paper mode runs the same execution engine against live prices with simulated fills. Most brokers also offer a demo account you can connect instead of a funded one.
